Five-star reviews on Google across all 8 SWITCH clinics
SWITCH Physiotherapy treats plantar fasciitis across 8 Sydney clinics including Penshurst, Maroubra, Concord, Lane Cove, Rouse Hill, Menai, Gladesville and Strathfield. Whether your heel pain is from running, standing all day at work, sudden activity changes or biomechanical issues, our physiotherapists assess what is actually irritating the plantar fascia (load tolerance, calf tightness, foot mechanics or training error) and build a treatment plan around it. No referral needed, direct booking online or by phone, with same-week appointments at every clinic.
It’s one of many conditions we treat as part of our wider pain treatment approach across Sydney.
Every SWITCH session combines hands-on manual therapy with a personalised exercise program. We treat what is actually causing the pain, not just where you feel it. The assessment is the foundation of everything that follows, so you know exactly what is being treated and why.
SWITCH has been treating Sydney patients for over 10 years. We are a locally-owned, locally-run physiotherapy group with deep roots in the communities each of our 8 clinics serves. Thousands of patients trust SWITCH every year for the kind of care that actually fixes the problem.
No GP referral needed. You can book an initial assessment directly with SWITCH and start treatment the same week. Every injury and recovery timeline is different, but our goal is to help you get back to running, lifting, working or playing sooner.
After your first appointment you will know exactly what your physio thinks is going on, what the treatment journey looks like, and how many sessions to expect. No vague answers, no open-ended commitments. A clear plan from session one.
Early-morning, all-day and late-evening appointments at every SWITCH clinic. Same-week and often same-day availability across the network. Online booking 24/7 at weareswitch.com.au, so you can lock in a time when it suits you.
Penshurst, Maroubra, Concord, Lane Cove, Rouse Hill, Menai, Gladesville and Strathfield. The same standard of care across every location, so you can book wherever fits your day. Treatment notes follow you between clinics if you ever need to switch.

Every SWITCH practitioner is registered with Ahpra and the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Verify any registration at ahpra.gov.au.
Yes. SWITCH physiotherapists assess and treat the underlying cause of heel pain, including plantar fasciitis, calf tightness, foot mechanics and training load issues. Treatment combines hands-on manual therapy with a tailored progressive loading program. Club Switch members receive ongoing care to prevent recurrence.
Every injury and recovery timeline is different, but our goal is to help you get back to running and walking pain-free sooner. Your physiotherapist will give you a clear plan after the initial assessment, and ongoing maintenance is available through Club Switch.
No. You can book directly with SWITCH Physiotherapy without a GP referral. Private health insurance rebates apply on the spot via HICAPS. If you have a Medicare Chronic Disease Management plan or a WorkCover claim, your GP referral covers those subsidies.
Sometimes. Orthotics can help in specific cases where foot biomechanics are a major contributor, but they are not the first line of treatment for most people. SWITCH physiotherapists will assess whether orthotics would benefit your particular presentation and refer to a podiatrist if appropriate.
Wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing and your usual running or walking shoes (we will look at the wear pattern). If you have any recent scans or specialist letters relating to your foot, bring those along. If you are claiming on private health insurance, bring your physical card so we can swipe HICAPS at the clinic.
Book your initial assessment at any of our 8 Sydney clinics: Penshurst, Maroubra, Concord, Lane Cove, Rouse Hill, Menai, Gladesville, or Strathfield. No referral needed.
