It’s one of many conditions we treat as part of our wider pain treatment approach across Sydney.
Every SWITCH session combines hands-on manual therapy with a personalised exercise program. We treat what is actually causing the pain, not just where you feel it. The assessment is the foundation of everything that follows, so you know exactly what is being treated and why.
SWITCH has been treating Sydney patients for over 10 years. We are a locally-owned, locally-run physiotherapy group with deep roots in the communities each of our 8 clinics serves. Thousands of patients trust SWITCH every year for the kind of care that actually fixes the problem.
No GP referral needed. You can book an initial assessment directly with SWITCH and start treatment the same week. Every injury and recovery timeline is different, but our goal is to help you get back to running, lifting, working or playing sooner.
After your first appointment you will know exactly what your physio thinks is going on, what the treatment journey looks like, and how many sessions to expect. No vague answers, no open-ended commitments. A clear plan from session one.

In most cases, yes. The majority of sciatica cases settle with conservative care including physiotherapy, manual therapy, targeted exercise and activity modification. SWITCH physiotherapists will refer for imaging or specialist review if your symptoms suggest surgery may be appropriate, but for most people surgery is not required.
